Check which extras you own
| Content | Entitlement | Where to use it |
|---|---|---|
| Simon’s Outfit: Alternate | Deluxe | Cosmetic / Game Options in the main game. |
| Bonus Application | Deluxe | Separate application, not a campaign inventory item. |
| Rusted CRTV | Qualifying early-purchase / pre-order bonus | CRTV Style setting. |
| Beach Edition CRTV | Qualifying PS5-exclusive bonus | CRTV Style on the PS5 copy. |
An outfit changes appearance, while the CRTV skins change its shell. Neither is a required puzzle upgrade. Your purchased platform and eligible account matter; a Steam receipt is not a PS5 entitlement.
Select the outfit and CRTV appearance
- Install the cosmetic entries attached to your purchase. On PS5, check the game’s add-ons in Game Library or Manage Game Content. On PC, check the owned content for the matching storefront copy.
- At New Game, use the Cosmetic Options screen. Set Simon’s Outfit and CRTV Style to the owned choices, then start the campaign.
- During a run, open Options → Game Options and use the same cosmetic selections. You do not need to start another campaign merely to change the CRTV shell.
- Return to gameplay and raise the CRTV to check its casing. First-person exploration is not a useful full-body preview of Simon’s outfit.
The figure verifies the two menu entries and the television preview. It does not prove that an unowned item will be available or that every later build uses identical menu placement.
Launch the separate Bonus Application
- Look in the library belonging to the account that purchased Deluxe for Silent Hill: Townfall — Bonus Application. Install it if it is listed but not downloaded.
- On PS5, launch its own library/home entry. On PC, use the corresponding Bonus Application entry or launch option provided by that storefront.
- Choose Artbook or Original Soundtrack inside the app. This is separate from the main game’s cosmetic screen.
KONAMI says the artbook and soundtrack cannot be downloaded from the application in a selected file format. The viewer is not a built-in export tool.
Steam MP3 / WAV downloads are a separate route
The official product page adds a Steam-specific note: the digital soundtrack can be downloaded in MP3 or WAV format through the Steam launcher. This coexists with the app’s no-export rule.
- Check that the account owns the soundtrack entitlement supplied with the purchase.
- In the Steam library, show Soundtracks in the library filter and find the associated soundtrack entry. Install its audio files if offered.
- Use that soundtrack entry’s local-file controls to locate downloaded audio. The separate Bonus Application’s gallery menu is not where the loose files are exported.
Do not extend the Steam note to a PS5 or Epic purchase. The Steam route establishes audio formats; it does not establish a PDF export for the artbook.
If an item is missing
- Read your receipt and the original promotion. Ordinary Standard ownership does not grant every Deluxe extra, and old pre-order wording is not a new entitlement.
- Check the correct account and storefront, then make sure the relevant content is installed. The base game and Bonus Application are separate entries.
- For PS5 disc add-ons, verify that the disc and account content regions match. Restart the console and try restoring licenses if eligible content still does not appear.
- If the purchase and installation are correct, contact the storefront/publisher with the edition, account region, build and missing item. Avoid buying a duplicate package as your first troubleshooting step.
A missing cosmetic and a missing Bonus Application are different symptoms. Record which one is absent so support can check the right entitlement.
