Can an RTX 3060 run it?
The RTX 3060 is not explicitly named in either official row. Check desktop versus laptop model, memory configuration, CPU and RAM. A GPU name alone does not confirm performance.
- Update the game and driver; check CPU and RAM against the official rows.
- Start a controlled Low-preset 1080p test from one save.
- Compare the same outdoor route and encounter, including stutter and frame pacing.
- Change one setting at a time. Check CPU and memory pressure if lower graphics do not help.
This is a starting test, not a measured FPS promise: we have not benchmarked an RTX 3060 PC. Desktop results do not apply to every laptop with the same model name.

Steam Deck rating and firsthand performance
Valve’s response checked October 10, 2026 reports Unsupported for graphics performance. Its separate SteamOS field is not a Deck Verified or Playable rating.
SteamDeckHQ’s September 21 test used very low settings, aggressive TSR upscaling and a 30 FPS cap. Small spaces could approach 30 FPS, but town traversal produced major drops and stutter, including results in the teens. This concerns that tested build.
The October 8 patch reports frame-pacing and streaming improvements. We have not repeated that handheld benchmark on the new build, so it does not justify a stable-30-FPS promise or changing Valve’s rating.

Specifications versus troubleshooting
Launch failures, objective-specific crashes and traversal stutter need different checks. Record your build, driver, settings and trigger, then use the relevant troubleshooting guide.
The October 8 release is called patch 1.4.0 while its menu build reads v1.5.154194. Record both labels in a problem report rather than treating different numbering as a failed update.
