Graveyard Keeper 2 Reanimation Liquid: Recipe and Where to Get It
Mix Clay, Alcohol and Salt for 2 red, 1 green and 4 blue runes; check formula unlocks and the flask supply.
Quick Answer
The documented three-ingredient combination is 1 Clay + 1 Alcohol + 1 Salt: 2 red, 1 green and 4 blue runes. Use a three-slot laboratory such as Laboratory II, unlock the formula, study the materials and supply usable Alchemy Flasks. For an early shortfall, inspect the Resurrection Room chest or Gunter's available stock.

Get a small starting supply
Check the chest in the newly opened Resurrection Room before building a complete alchemy chain. Story supplies are finite: count what you have rather than treating the chest as renewable. Gunter also offers liquid when the relevant story and trading options become available. Read his current stock and quoted price; an exported base price is not a guaranteed transaction price.
If you need one worker immediately, use an existing liquid first. A permanent laboratory chain is useful for recurring production. The Old Mine also has a reported finite chest supply, but opening that area is a separate progression route.
Unlock the formula
Progress Gunter's Necronomicon dialogue and the Reanimation Liquid research in Anatomy. The 1.007 export records a hidden node behind his 40-reputation gate costing 30 red, 40 green and 50 blue points. Receiving a book in an earlier quest step does not prove that the later research node is already purchased.
Use the rune-based alchemy formula. The local export also contains an Alcohol-plus-Catalyst record without a linked player station or reward. That orphan record is not a verified player-facing recipe.
Verify the three-ingredient total
| Ingredient | Red | Green | Blue |
|---|---|---|---|
| Clay x1 | 1 | 0 | 0 |
| Alcohol x1 | 0 | 0 | 3 |
| Salt x1 | 1 | 1 | 1 |
| Total | 2 | 1 | 4 |
- Study Clay, Alcohol and Salt at the Study Table. Supply Science and any Faith requested by each study.
- Open Laboratory II or another suitable three-slot laboratory. The two slots of Laboratory I cannot hold this combination.
- Select one of each ingredient and check 2 red, 1 green and 4 blue in the preview.
- Confirm the formula is unlocked and usable Alchemy Flasks are loaded. Run one batch and verify its output before scaling up.
- Move the finished liquid to storage accessible to the Resurrection Table, one per body.
This is a reproducible combination, not a claim that only these ingredients work. Other items can share rune values. Avoid experimenting with scarce materials until the preview matches the desired formula.
Load flasks at the shelf
Load Alchemy Flasks at the room's flask shelf. A crafted bundle may need its loading interaction before a laboratory can consume usable flasks. If the ingredients are present but crafting will not start, inspect the shelf and empty-container requirement, not just the backpack icon.
Science is loaded at the Study Table; it is not a laboratory ingredient. Read the requirement at the station where your action is blocked.
Check what is missing
- Only two slots: choose the laboratory tier that supports this combination.
- Formula absent: check Gunter's active story, reputation gate and Anatomy research.
- Runes unknown: study the ingredients first.
- Correct runes, no craft: inspect unlocks, usable flasks and the station's mastery requirement.
- Liquid made, no zombie: check the body, collar, preparation and activation sequence.
