Moon Sweepers “Could Not Pack a Capsule”: Which Update Fixes It?

Separate the original machine pause bug from the large-base capsule problem fixed in 1.0.5, then check one production route.

Quick answer

Update to 1.0.5 or later. The original machine pause error was fixed in 1.0.4; 1.0.5 fixes packing failures in large bases with many capsules on belts.

Check one affected line

  1. Close the game and let Steam finish any pending update. Reload the world on the updated build.
  2. Choose one affected machine. Check its required inputs and available power before changing the route.
  3. Follow its output. If a capsule is visibly stuck, inspect that connection first. A blocked route is a separate check, not proof of the original bug.
  4. If packing still fails, record the version, affected machine, solo or co-op state and whether Q also fails. Include those details in a bug report.

Keep the diagnosis small

Do not assume the old message identifies every possible factory failure. Updating addresses the documented bugs; it cannot supply a missing ingredient or repair every layout.

If relocation helps you inspect the route, use the 1.0.5 Move Mode and check one segment at a time.
