Moon Sweepers: Move Buildings for Free in 1.0.5
Use the new Move Mode, cancel a move, and check connected belts. Patch 1.0.5 also changes demolition to a full refund.
Quick answer
Yes: patch 1.0.5 adds free building moves. Equip the building tool and press R. Pick up the piece, then place it again. Removing a piece now refunds its full price.

Move a placed piece
- Update to 1.0.5 or later before following these controls.
- With the building tool equipped, press R to enter Move Mode. On a controller, press Y from Remove Mode.
- Pick up the intended piece. Objects standing on it travel with it.
- Choose the destination and place it. Reachable belts attached to its ports follow.

Check the route after placing
Inspect each connection at the new position. Follow one capsule from the moved section toward its destination before rearranging another part of the line. This makes a broken segment easier to isolate.
Older advice to demolish everything and budget for a 25% loss describes earlier builds. On 1.0.5, removal gives a full refund. Use the move control when you want to reposition the existing setup.
