Official Demo, download and save compatibility
Quick answer
Use the Steam listing for the Demo or purchased Early Access game. Older Demo saves do not load in the replacement Demo released October 26.

Choose the correct app
The Demo is a separate download from the purchased game. Check which one is installed before comparing instructions, mods or a friend’s lobby. Update through Steam and start the matching app.
Preserve your old progress
Keep a backup before trying a different build. Do not overwrite the only old save while investigating incompatibility. The replacement Demo follows a newer reduced-content build; an older guide’s route and seed table may describe the previous Demo.
Mobile and APK searches
The official listing identifies the Windows PC game. An APK result is not evidence of an official mobile release. Use the developer’s store link to confirm the product before downloading.
