Find the Downtown Auction House

The Auction House is in Downtown’s Dense Patterning area, northwest within the district. It is a separate marker from the Auction Buyer’s Apartment in Central. Track The Complete Set under Side Stories to distinguish them.

For this rooftop route, prepare Shift from the West Incursion Zone. From Outside the Oldest House, follow the patterned elevated road toward the dense northern section of Downtown, using Shift where the road turns onto another plane. Cross the gap, reach the respawn point and descend toward the Auction House roof. A straight street-level line on the map will not show the change in elevation.

Use the roof entrance

Land on the Auction House roof and clear the Hiss blocking the entrance. Enter through the rooftop door, then take the stairs down into the auction hall. If you are searching around a locked lower facade, check the roof rather than treating that door as the quest entrance.

Approach the hall from the rooftop. Clear the roof and descend into the hall. Game Guides Channel · rooftop approach · 4:45 ▶

Shift enables this approach; it is not a keycard for an interior door. A nearby map marker alone does not guarantee you can reach the roof with your current movement abilities.

Collect the speaker and both leads

Speak to the civilian in the hall. The SINKKI D50 speaker becomes active and moves around the room. Follow it, wait for a pause, move into range and use Contain. Pick up the subdued speaker afterwards; containment and collection are separate actions.

Before leaving, collect two clues upstairs near the civilian:

  • The SINKKI D50 Speaker Set: the setup note on the nearby desk, used when you bring the full set back.
  • There’s People in There: the recording near the brown leather chair. It supplies the next leads, including Langston and the apartments.

The Auction House is the collection quest’s final staging location. Bring back four SINKKI D50 speakers and the subwoofer after visiting the other leads. Langston supplies the SR access card for the subwoofer in the Oldest House.

Use the full Complete Set walkthrough for all pickups, the five placement surfaces, the switch-off sequence and final dialogue. The site of the ritual is this Downtown hall; visiting the Auction Buyer’s Apartment does not replace returning here.
