Start The Complete Set

Begin at the Museum of Curiosities in the West Incursion Zone: read the reception note, then find the speaker at the back. You can also discover the quest by encountering another piece of the set. The museum is a convenient starting route, not a required first pickup.

Track The Complete Set under Side Stories. When a speaker starts moving, follow it without standing inside its pulses. Wait for its pause, move close, use Contain, then pick up the subdued item. Containing it and collecting it are separate actions.

Museum start ▶

The numbering on a pickup is not a mandatory collection order. You need four SINKKI D50 speakers and one subwoofer; the fifth piece is not another regular speaker.

Find the four speakers

Museum of Curiosities · West Incursion Zone

Enter the museum and go to the back display. Interact with the speaker and test it to begin its escape. Follow its movements around the room; during a pause, Contain it and collect it. Reading the reception clue gives you the Auction House lead.

Auction House · Downtown

Go to the Auction House in the Dense Patterning area of northwestern Downtown. Use the rooftop entrance to get into the hall. Talk to the civilian, then chase and contain the moving speaker.

Collect There’s People in There, the recording near the brown leather chair by the civilian. It gives the leads for Langston and both apartments. Also take The SINKKI D50 Speaker Set setup note so you can check the later ritual.

Collector’s Apartment → construction site · Central

Follow the Collector’s Apartment marker in southwestern Central, along the patterned road toward the West Incursion Zone Checkpoint. Inside, listen to the answering-machine recording Pete, Nina and Lester.

The speaker was thrown away. Leave through the front entrance and cross the street to the construction-site entrance. Look among the dumpsters on the right. Interacting starts another chase through the site; catch it during a pause and pick it up.

Auction Buyer’s Apartment → Atlantis coffee shop · Central

This is the other apartment marker, east of the Central Field Office. Read the Exchange Location Note beside the entrance. It points to the nearby Atlantis coffee shop.

Enter the shop from street level and interact with the speaker on the table. Follow it outside as it flees. Contain and collect it when it settles. Do not search the Collector’s Apartment again: the two apartment clues lead to different speakers.

Get the SR keycard and subwoofer

  1. Ask Langston in Central. Visit the Field Panopticon at the Central Field Office and choose the confiscated-speaker conversation. Receive the Oldest House Storage Room keycard (SR).
  2. Return to the Oldest House in Downtown. Follow the tutorial route through Central Executive toward Executive Research. Take the first elevator up toward Executive Research, cross the inspection area, then use the second lift down to the storage level. Look for the door clearly labelled SR, beside the bunker.
  3. Open SR with the new keycard. Interact with the subwoofer on the shelf. Defeat the Hiss encounter it triggers, then chase and contain the subwoofer as you did the speakers. Pick it up after containment.

If SR will not open, confirm you received the storage-room card from Langston. Another clearance card does not replace this quest item. The final-subwoofer Bug entry concerns the later Auction House interaction, not this locked door.

Deliver the set and place every piece

With all five items collected, return to the Auction House. Use the prompted handover beside the civilian to set out the complete system on its soft-leather starting surface, then read the setup note. The four regular speakers are interchangeable; only the subwoofer has its own required surface.

The in-game setup note specifies the surfaces and the four-speaker shutdown. PerfectParadox · 14:58. 14:58 ▶

Use the placement prompts rather than guessing an arbitrary nearby table or blue object. The low-frequency unit belongs in the puddle itself. Once the set activates, shut down the four regular speakers in quick succession; step through the gaps between their pulses. Keep the subwoofer active for the final conversation.

Placement and shutdown sequence ▶

Talk to the civilian when the shutdown objective progresses. Then interact with the subwoofer for the final choice. If the ritual has not started, recheck all five surfaces. If it has progressed to the final interaction but the prompt is delayed, check the version note below.

Final choice and completion

Both subwoofer choices complete The Complete Set and grant Untapped Bout Guard. Choose for the story outcome rather than a different item reward. If you turn the volume up, finish the additional Talk to the Civilian conversation.

Show what the two choices do · spoilers

Turn the subwoofer off: the civilian collapses and Dylan apologizes. Turn the volume up: multiple voices speak through the civilian; continue the conversation before the completion screen. The latter is not a straightforward rescue.

Both endings ▶

Look for Quest Completed: The Complete Set and the artifact notification. Untapped Bout Guard unlocks crafting in The Gap; published item descriptions give +50% Power recovery with +20% damage taken.

Final interaction prompt missing?

Remedy’s 1.4.0 patch notes document a fix for the final subwoofer prompt failing to appear for two minutes. Update your game and finish the preceding dialogue. This does not prove every unrelated missing interaction has the same cause.

For the dated symptom, patch history and reporting steps, use the separate Subwoofer interaction Bug guide.
