Quick Answer
CONTROL Resonant requires Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit), 16 GB RAM and 120 GB of available SSD space. Minimum GPUs are GTX 1070, RX 5600 XT or Arc A580; recommended GPUs are RTX 3060 Ti, RX 6700 XT or Arc B580. Use the current table rather than the earlier 100 GB specifications.

The official full chart pairs targets with hardware. Minimum specifies 6 GB VRAM; Recommended specifies 8 GB. Frame generation was not used to test the configurations. The upscaler presets mean these are not native-resolution rendering claims.
Recommended is the non-ray-traced Medium tier. Match the separate hardware tier for ray tracing or path tracing. Published targets do not guarantee identical performance in every scene; this page does not claim a GameHelpBase benchmark.
SSD space and older requirements
120 GB available space is the official requirement. It is not an exact download size. Downloads, installed files and temporary update space can differ. Leave headroom for patching; the current Steam table does not specify a fixed additional amount.
Earlier previews listed 100 GB and an RTX 3070 for Recommended. The current Steam listing and updated developer FAQ agree on 120 GB and RTX 3060 Ti / RX 6700 XT / Arc B580. Use the updated entries when checking your PC.
Check your PC before installing
- Open Windows Settings → System → About for the processor, installed RAM and system type.
- Open Task Manager → Performance → GPU for the graphics card model. Compare its model with the table, not just the vendor.
- Check the installation drive’s free space in File Explorer. A large HDD does not satisfy the SSD requirement.
The Windows table does not provide native Mac or Linux requirements. Remedy plans a Mac release later in 2026; its exact date and hardware requirements remain unconfirmed in the sources checked here.
