Weapon versus key
Collect the Pierce weapon near the temple’s exterior statue or masonry before entering. It does not require a Trident Key. The exterior entrance instead takes four Triangular Slates. Do not search for interior keys while still facing that four-slot outside door.
The two temple keys
Search the flooded entrance section for the first key, then proceed toward the second save point. The lower opening in the large pit leads to the skeleton-ambush route containing another key and the third Wind Gem. Retrieve keys from mechanisms when the opened route allows you to reposition them.
The optional four-key return trip
The broader community progression route documents four keys for the optional treasure objective: two found in Obmuer, one earned by maximizing the Trident weapon, and one sold after defeating the Necronomicon in the Tower of Knowledge. The Royal Guards and Sea King remain the mandatory route. Continue through them before returning for treasure if you still need weapon levels or the later shop stock.
Combat trade-off
The weapon has 8 Power and average speed; the Rusted Spear starts lower but attacks faster and has its own evolution path.
Avoid confusing the gates
Four Triangular Slates open the exterior temple entrance. Trident Keys belong to mechanisms inside. A weapon, a slate and a reusable interior key solve different obstacles; matching the socket matters more than collecting every optional reward immediately.
