Defend the CFD twice
Fight the street waves at the first platform. When the operation relocates, clear the blockade and the next waves. Return to the platform and use the switch at its rear corner. Leaving the area immediately after combat can miss this control step.
Follow the device through the Patterning
Travel through the gravity tunnel and use the HVAC wall route to the opening. At the square, destroy the three wall orbs before using the middle platform to open the hole. Follow the objective through the changing geometry rather than returning to the original street position.
Resolve the failed activation
At the CFD, the attempted activation fails and throws Dylan back. Move forward again and use the displayed destruction prompt, then continue into the Oldest House. Finish the transition to register the mission. Missing Pope dialogue after a reload is a named 1.4.0 fix; update before treating that as a branch consequence.
