Use a wardrobe and understand the count
Use the Oldest House wardrobe after the opening story section to change Dylan’s appearance. The menu separates Top Layer, Base Layer, Hair, Facial Hair, Accessories, and Body and Face. These are cosmetic choices; switching clothes does not replace a combat build.
This catalog tracks 54 named pieces: 12 top layers, 12 base layers, 8 hairstyles, 4 facial-hair choices, 15 accessories and 3 body/face choices. It includes restricted entitlements, so 54 is not the number every ordinary save can acquire. Colour and print options within a piece are variants, not additional unlocks.
The two reported datamined items are listed separately at the end because no normal acquisition route is established. Story, quest and boss names below contain spoilers. The saved checks belong to this browser and do not inspect your game save.
Efficient collection route and important distinctions
- Finish story and Side Stories. Keep P6 Uniform: Torn separate from Agent Uniform. Urban Survival awards Plate Carrier M1 after its photo handover; Karaoke awards Varsity Jacket.
- Check vendors and zone rewards. Raise the relevant zone level before revisiting its vendor. High-level rewards include sunglasses at Downtown 11, Bowl Cut at Unknown 13 and Buzzcut at Central 15.
- Place on the SHÜM leaderboards. A cabinet’s level requirement opens access; you still need the reward placement. Follow the eight-cabinet guide for routes, prerequisites and each scoreboard.
- Collect Testing Facility chests. Emergency Hood and Firebreaker Goggles are in reward-room chests, so finishing a facility without opening its chest can leave the cosmetic missing.
- Check your eligible promotions. Pre-order, Deluxe, newsletter, Twitch, NVIDIA and beta items have separate conditions. A late-game quest is not a substitute for a missing entitlement.
Compression Vest is the Underpass arcade reward. It is different from Deluxe’s Circulation Vest. The original community catalog’s author acknowledged and corrected that mix-up after a player reported receiving Compression Vest from Underpass SHÜM III.
Sensory Restraint Hood depends on the Wilson branch. Offer to carry AVP-3 yourself and complete the Threshold delivery. Believing Wilson alone does not finish that reward route. See dialogue choices before the decision.

Promotions, codes and platform limits
Digital Deluxe: the AWE Mission Outfit is presented as separate wardrobe pieces: Diagnostic Suit, Circulation Vest and Crew Cut. Check the edition entitlement after reaching the wardrobe; there is no need to find an item called “AWE Mission Outfit” in every slot.
Digital pre-order: Hiss Corruption provides the Exposed / Corrupted appearance options. PlayStation’s separate Occult entitlement supplies Threshold Bureau Coat, Workwear and Gas Mask. These should not be counted as normal quest rewards available to all platforms or later purchases.
Twitch: Remedy’s launch campaign runs September 22–October 13, 2026. The Sierra pieces are shown as 1-hour Suit, 2-hour Vest and 4-hour Helmet rewards; check the requirements displayed in your own campaign. Watch an eligible Drops Enabled stream, claim completed rewards and follow their delivery instructions. Watching and claiming are separate steps.
Newsletter: Communications Department Headset and Optical Filtering Goggles are tied to the official newsletter offer. Use the official site, complete its email-confirmation instructions and redeem a delivered personal code. Current signup eligibility and delivery depend on the official offer terms; this guide does not promise a code merely because someone signs up after release.
NVIDIA: Third Ice Baseball Cap is an NVIDIA App reward for eligible GeForce GTX 10-series-or-newer users, redeemable in the Steam and Epic versions. Open NVIDIA App’s Redeem section to check availability. Distribution is limited and country restrictions apply; it is not a console quest reward. NVIDIA says it can be equipped after Act 1.
MIO robe: the publicly distributed code is EV172-LN211-PL279. Enter it at Options → Gameplay → Enter Redeem Code, inside the game. Personal Twitch, newsletter and NVIDIA codes use their supplied redemption instructions; they are not interchangeable with the public MIO code.
Datamined entries and missing-item checks
Deathadder Jacket and K9 Frequency Receiver have been reported from game-data discoveries. A publicly verified normal unlock route is not available in the checked sources. They are excluded from the 54-piece checklist; the larger 56-entry count combines these two with the known wardrobe catalog.
If a piece is missing, check its category, zone requirement and source. Empty Top Layer or Base Layer choices are not new named items. Check the post-credits scene for Casual Outfit, all six listed Resonants for its alternate version, and reward-room chests for facility cosmetics. Restricted entitlements cannot be solved by repeatedly replaying Orientation. New Game Plus can help with further zone progression; it does not turn platform promotions into normal loot.
Saved collection progress
Checks above include all known named pieces, even those restricted by platform or entitlement. Skip pieces your edition cannot acquire rather than treating an unavailable promotion as a broken quest.
