Find the northeast island vendor
Open Unknown through The Hedron Link and progress Pope’s Research to connect its islands. Use the regional map to locate the vendor on the northeastern island; the source map below identifies its position. With a rotated gravity view, follow the mapped island and vendor symbol rather than treating “right” as a fixed compass direction. Inspect Materials for the exact item name. The illustrated inventory lists both materials at base stock as well as later levels, so it does not establish a Vendor Level 3-only gate.
Buy for a named recipe
Pin the missing requirement in the upgrade or formation menu, then check vendor availability on the map. Buy only the missing quantity after comparing Source and stock. Ordered Image appears in crafts such as 1996 Commemorative Coin and Worn Eraser; Patterned Thought is used for Golden Earrings. Read your current recipe before purchasing: a requirement for one cannot be paid with the other.
Use the one-time gym reward
At Unknown’s Pulse Fitness, perform slow treadmill → fast bike → one vending-machine interaction → fast treadmill → slow bike. Enter the opened passage and collect the basement contents. Reported combat route and its limits
Late Hedron encounters are the relevant combat lead, rather than early Hiss farming. A source-reported loop starts at Twisted Rooftops: face the mapping tower, check the roof behind it on the same gravity plane, defeat the Hedron elite, inspect the pickup, enter The Gap and return. This reset is reported by Tpose Gaming, not tested by this site. If no enemy returns, use remaining story rewards or vendor stock; no guaranteed drop rate, infinite stock or fastest-per-hour claim is established.
