Moon Sweepers Building: Move Mode & Full Refunds
The current building controls, foundation snapping and safe ways to adjust a factory.
Quick answer
On 1.0.5, press R with the Building Tool to move a piece and what stands on it for free. Right-click restores its original position; R or Esc exits. Removing a piece refunds its whole price. Guides describing a mandatory demolish-and-rebuild loop are outdated.

| Exit move mode | R or Esc. |

You no longer need a pre-cleaned plot
Every piece can be built on dusty ground. Building presses the dust underneath flat. You can aim at the top, underside or side of a foundation and build beyond its edge. This removes the old requirement to clean every intended build spot first.
Machines align with the aimed-at foundation or a 0.5 m grid. If a row refuses to fit, first update: 1.0.5 specifically fixes rows of presses being refused on foundation tops.
Move a working line in small sections
- Observe the line while it runs so you know its original flow.
- Pick up the supporting piece with R. Objects standing on it move with it.
- Place the assembly. Connected belts follow only where they can still reach.
- Feed one capsule and watch it pass through before moving the next section.
Refunds and old guides
Removal returns 100% of the piece price in 1.0.5, up from 75%. Moving is free, so use move mode when changing a layout and removal when you actually want to reclaim its cost. A refund is not proof that every surrounding belt automatically reconnects; retest the line after changing it.
