Moon Sweepers Mods: Loader Checks & Bigger Capsules

Check each mod’s own loader and game-build requirements. Bigger Capsules is verified as an available mod; its author explicitly leaves co-op untested.

Quick answer

Check each mod’s own loader and game-build requirements. Bigger Capsules is verified as an available mod; its author explicitly leaves co-op untested.

Choose a change before choosing a loader

A capsule-size plugin changes transport throughput; it does not fix a disconnected intake. First confirm the unmodified delivery line works. Then select one mod, note the installed game build and read the author’s requirements. A loader that starts successfully does not prove its plugins loaded.

Bigger Capsules: a verified example

The author offers presets and separate multipliers for player-made and machine-made capsules. Existing capsules retain their size after a configuration change. This matters when comparing output: test newly packed cargo rather than expecting a belt already full of capsules to change.

  1. Close the game and copy the save and backup folder before changing the installation.
  2. The author specifies BepInEx 6.0.0-be.791, Unity IL2CPP win-x64, plus the MoonSweepers BepInEx Patcher. Follow the linked author page for current files.
  3. Start once with the loader and patcher, then quit. Extract one Bigger Capsules preset into the game folder.
  4. Check BepInEx/LogOutput.log for its loaded message before changing settings.
  5. Use BepInEx/config/magd.moonsweepers.biggercapsules.cfg for the separate multipliers. Test new capsules on a spare world.

The author says the host must have the mod and co-op is untested. That is not a supported multiplayer configuration. Removing the plugin does not resize capsules already created.

If nothing changes

Check the plugin log first, then the required loader architecture, patcher and the installed game build. Do not install several loaders to solve one missing log entry. Restore the unmodified installation to distinguish a game problem from a loader problem, keeping your save copy separate.

Checked 1 November 2026. No in-game test is claimed. Compatibility and unsupported features remain limited to the evidence stated above.

Extended Garage: check the loader before adding vehicle levels

The author’s current page describes a plugin tested with Steam 1.0.5, build 26277955. It extends garage upgrade levels and preserves the original vehicle restrictions. Its newer laser guide is bought separately for an owned sweeper and toggled with V while driving; it is not a base-game unlock.

  1. Use an already working BepInEx 6 IL2CPP setup with the required Unity 6000.6 / metadata 108 fix and locally generated matching interop. The plugin archive does not install or repair those components.
  2. Close the game and back up the world. Extract the plugin so its DLL is at BepInEx/plugins/ExtendedGarage/ExtendedGarage.dll.
  3. Start through Steam and inspect the garage. Update the DLL only with the game closed.

Include ExtendedGarage-upgrades.json and ExtendedGarage-laser.json, plus their .bak copies, with world backups. Recorded purchases can be recovered when the working mod returns, but extended statistics do not stay active without it. The author does not support co-op clients for laser purchases. Compatibility with other garage replacements remains uncertain.
