The practical change is easier rebuilding: dusty ground accepts structures, move mode repositions assemblies, removing a piece gives a full refund, and machine snapping aligns to foundations. J.O.O.N.A.S. now balances capsule deliveries within nearby catcher groups.
The patch also fixes repeatable post-load freezes, packing failures in large bases, stuck movement from off-centre controllers, distant hex completion and incorrect sector readings. It reduces big-base stutters and fixes memory leaks after leaving worlds or removing structures.

1.0.4 — 25 October 2026
J.O.O.N.A.S. cleans without nearby players, cleans roughly twice as fast in the developer’s description and launches capsules without returning to a dock. The Moon map gains robot status and right-click actions. Goggles cost $350, catchers hold 100 kg and a teleport panel connects discovered stations.
Five automatic backups per save slot improve recovery. The update reworks shared cleaned ground, alternates merger inputs, fixes machine packing pauses and makes DX11 the Windows default for AMD stability. Saves from this build do not open in earlier versions.
1.0.3 — 24 October 2026
The host’s upgrade matrix applies to the crew, with purchases improving everyone. The host gains kick and ban controls. Belts pay immediately when material reaches the deposit intake. Garage recall, storage and upgrades work across garages, and garage demolition no longer deletes vehicles.
