Evaluate the tradeoff

Ribbon excludes Instant Death; Super Ribbon includes it. Shop inventories depend on progression, so check local stock rather than assuming an early purchase. HP-draining damage accessories become worse on a fragile or frequently acting healer. Keep a defensive answer when it prevents lost turns or a party wipe. Put critical bonuses on the damage dealer and gauge support on the actor whose Limit will solve the next threat.
