Reach the chamber
Use the airship to reach the mountainous island between Dirnado and Gronoa. Pedestal hints are optional; finding a component first is allowed. Save before its two-stage level-50 trial. The later level-75 rematches give enhanced equipment and are separate from the standard restoration trophy.
Find the missing Ancient item
The first column abbreviates the inventory prefix “Ancient”. Record component collection and guardian victory separately.
| Ancient item | Acquisition checkpoint | Restored equipment |
|---|---|---|
| Whip | 84 shards, Oblivion Palace room 3, chest VI | Fire Birch |
| Cloak | Chapter 8 merchant; 40,000 gil | Lordly Robes |
| Accessory | Quarry Cave, island west of Zoldaad | Gold Hairpin |
| Garment | Radar: Gronoa east-coast cove | Mirage Vest |
| Katana | Crystal Tower Middle Reach, west of airship-entry save | Sasuke’s Blade |
| Hammer | Radar: Dirnado west-coast cove; two upgrades | Thor’s Hammer |
| Firearm | 76 shards, palace room 3, chest IV | Arcturus |
| Tome | Chapter 8 merchant; 45,000 gil | Last Resort |
| Rod | Inspect locked Pharm cabin; get Sian key; return | Wizard’s Rod |
| Greatsword | Fledgling battle 3 | Ragnarok |
| Cuirass | Brawler battle 5 | Tatenashi Armour |
| Bow | Chloe in Felicitas, then Chamber of Arms | Artemis Bow |
Clear the prerequisite that blocks you
For radar items, install the required upgrades. For palace items, reaching the shard threshold and opening its reward chest are separate actions. For the Rod, inspect the locked cabin before asking for the key. Merchant purchases total 85,000 gil.
Arena progression supplies two components. Return to the matching pedestal after each acquisition; an Ancient item is not the completed Legendary Arm.
