Nintendo version choice
Native Switch 2 software requires Switch 2. Running original Switch software on newer hardware remains the original edition. A cloud backup is not a converter between them. The current Nintendo estimates are 8.8GB for original Switch and 11.9GB for native Switch 2; these can change with updates. Try the matching demo before committing to a long playthrough.
Console and PC ownership
PS5 is the confirmed PlayStation release. Xbox Series X|S and qualifying Xbox on PC ownership use the digital Xbox Play Anywhere product; inspect that badge on the offer. Steam is a distinct purchase and save ecosystem. A Steam Cloud label does not establish synchronization with Nintendo, PlayStation or Xbox.
