Match the next unlock to a problem
| Current problem | Candidate investment | What changes |
|---|---|---|
| Cannot break fast enough | Cloud awakening 1 | Braver and Stagger Power +20% |
| No dependable revival | Ayaka 1 / 2; Leah 2 | Raise / Arise; Raise respectively |
| Need rare stealing | Zidane 3 | Treasure Hunter makes successful steals rare |
| Need broad early magic | Tronn 1 / 2 | Second- / third-tier Fire, Ice and Lightning |
| Need party speed later | Tidus 3 | Hastega |
Budget the correct material
The three awakening steps consume Magicite Shard, Magicite and Magicite Cryst respectively, one material per step. Unlocking an ability and learning/equipping it are separate checks. Finish a useful breakpoint before distributing your last resource across unused roles. For rare-steal investment, first ensure Steal succeeds and the target has a worthwhile unclaimed item.
