After Gladiator and Champion’s first two battles, rebuild for this opponent instead of carrying forward the previous element. Prevent Paralysis on recovery. Remove Reflect before ordinary Fire spells or use suitable physical Fire; changing category does not remove all counters.
Answer the dangerous action
Use efficient hits while keeping recovery after retaliation. Stop Meteor or Ruthless Rampage with a reachable Stagger. Heal before the break ends because the recovery from Stagger triggers a powerful response. Inspect buffs again after they are removed.
