Read this encounter
Use the upper world-map entrance near Zidane’s sanctum, then find the gravestone near the save point. Lid’s Stone/Stonera or Mechabo Kick can provide Earth when learned. Keep magic protection and a Paralysis cure available on a second actor.
Answer the dangerous action
Read the Thunderspark readiness warning as the gauge falls. A large partial reduction is not a guaranteed safe turn: complete the break before the warned action or prepare survival and the follow-up heal. Flash can Blind physical attackers; restore their control or use suitable Earth magic.
After the battle
Confirm Ramuh in the summon menu after victory. The ordinary mountain path, shortcut and upper return entrance do not require restarting the chapter for this optional trial.
