Support is a deliberate choice

Ayaka restores HP and cures non-KO ailments/debuffs; Charlotte heals and raises defenses; Leah heals with Regen; Wilhelm grants a one-hit barrier. Select a useful follow-up before the final encounter, rather than choosing only the outgoing actor’s normal element.

Check the handoff

Before committing, identify who enters, who heals next, whether the incoming actor has the required command equipped, and which enemy response follows. Sending away your only ready healer can undo a strong damage turn. Check the current target’s absorption and whether a support effect benefits the actors who remain.
