Intercept the moogles rather than chasing their tails

Each moogle loops around a particular part of Mysidia. Watch its direction, get ahead of that circuit, and tag it on the next pass. The first round uses street level; later rounds also use the upper level. Round two reaches roughly twice the first-round top speed, and round three about 2.5 times.

In round one, the three reported circuits are approximately 60 m, 50 m and 60 m. Two moogles run near the gathering point; the third circuit is near Sakura’s house. Distances are route references, not exact standing coordinates.

Do not enter Sakura’s house, the potion workshop, the library or the town exit during a round unless you mean to quit. A failed timer permits a retry. Complete the three quest results separately for Mist X-Potion, Magicite and Magicite Cryst.

Retry the intended activity

Jump when the exclamation cue appears. A miss permits immediate retry; the later high-score mode has no extra prize. In Mog Tag, catch all three moving moogles before time ends. Leaving town ends the attempt, and the save point is disabled during play. The three rewards are Mist X-Potion, Magicite and Magicite Cryst; play ends after the third win.

Travel tools

Dungeon save-point Teleport connects paired points, while Mysidia’s four stones link city districts. Olderion’s boatmen and Zoldaad’s station attendant provide local travel. Rafts remain at the dock where you left them. Use the chocobo to reduce encounters and avoid the initial desert Antlion ambush.
