Read the attribute
| Attribute | What it governs |
|---|---|
| Strength | Physical attack |
| Stamina | Physical defense |
| Magic | Magic attack |
| Spirit | Magic defense and Sanctity |
| Speed | Action order |
| AP | Budget for equipped abilities |
| Sanctity | Healing magic and relevant Light attacks |
Identify why an upgrade failed
Inspect the selected command’s description and symbols. Sword and staff power describe physical and magical actions; the Light-ray icon denotes Sanctity scaling, and the gauge symbol denotes Stagger power. Bigger HP damage and bigger gauge reduction are different results. A stronger weapon does not restore a command removed by a Vision change.
Improve the missing function
If the attacker is ineffective, check element and category before its damage stat. If the healer fails, check MP, control ailments and the relevant healing attribute. If the setup cannot be equipped, inspect earned mastery and free AP. Resolve mastery and equip rules.
