Prepare a complete line

Choose Chemist or acquire Retired Chemist through Wild. Release references describe a Blender, Heating Plate, Evaporator, Chem Finisher and Composition Spectrometer. Obtain containers and measure the unpacked chemicals before mixing. Common and Restricted Supplies contain different reagents. This guide combines attributed release observations; we have not tested the recipes in game.

A small Dream Dust batch

Blend Dream Caps into a container and measure the mush. Release references describe five volumes of alcohol to one volume of mush. Warm gently: extraction begins at 40°C. Aim around 40–49°C while mush remains; raw mush changes at 50°C and extract breaks down at 60°C. Scan during conversion and stop heating when the intended extract forms. Strain coarse material through Kotton Fabric where needed. Put the mixture in a powered Evaporator overnight, inspect remaining solvent, and select Dream Dust in the Finisher once dry.

Reaction windows

TargetFeedTemperature
CaffeineCoffee mush and alcoholFrom 50°C; water route from 80°C
Dream Cap ExtractDream Cap mush and alcoholFrom 40°C, below 60°C
Nightmare ExtractNightmare mush and alcoholFrom 40°C; avoid overheating
NomoreDream extract, Reducing Agent, Lipobond Agent45–55°C; alcohol at most 10%
PhantaN-Methylol Base exceeding Stabilizing Agent, with Reducing Agent110°C to below 130°C

Preparing advanced reactions

Community references describe settling Stabilizing Agent with Acid or Base before Phanta conversion. Inspect the mixture and separate contamination before high heat; an upgraded Heating Plate is required. For Nomore, check the alcohol fraction before heating. Successful conversion alone does not establish purity. Caffeine solvent ratios conflict: Treyex lists 3:4 alcohol:mush, while Wikily lists 5:1. Neither is certified here as the optimum; test a small measured batch and follow the scanner.

Diagnose the failed stage

Packaging consumes mixture volume, not necessarily that volume of pure active. Chemical Equipment Modules reduce Finisher-added contamination from 12% to 6%, 3%, 1%, then 0% at four modules. Scan the packaged item. Wet ingredient: inspect solvent and update to 1.0.0.5 for the official trace-water fix. No recipe selected: configure before output. Active disappearing: check heat. Low purity: remove contamination where it enters rather than making a larger batch. Price modifiers differ between demo and release references; read the current finished grade. Zyanide and hormone packaging are documented, but a reliable upstream synthesis/source route is not established here.

Zyanide and birth control: confirmed acquisition, missing synthesis

Public item references list finished Zyanide Pills in Security Department Evidence Lockers. They list Birth Control Pills through the Underground Exchange, scavenger medical supplies and Medical Bay Supply Crates. These are rolled acquisition possibilities, not guaranteed stock. The Finisher recipes establish packaging only: they do not prove that Common or Restricted Chemical Supplies contain the required upstream active. No reliable public recipe for synthesizing Zyanide or Contraceptive Hormones was found in the reviewed manuals, developer modding materials and community guides. Do not substitute a real-world chemical process or assume a finished pill can be blended back into a profitable production loop.

Evaporator: measure dryness before packaging

Pour the reacted mixture into a suitable vessel and fit it to the Evaporator with enough energy and collection space. Process one night, then inspect the remaining water/alcohol in the spectrometer before moving the dry mixture to the Finisher. A fitted solvent-recovery module changes handling of the removed solvent; leave an appropriate receiving container where required. Finisher rejection can be residual liquid, a missing selected recipe or insufficient mixture, not necessarily a failed reaction. The official 1.0.0.5 fix removes a trace-water rejection; it does not repair an overheated extract.

Measure the solvent instead of copying a cup count

After blending, use the Composition Spectrometer to measure actual mush volume M. IGN’s release walkthrough uses alcohol content between 3M and 6M for Dream Cap extraction; the separately cited 5:1 route fits inside that interval. Measure the alcohol component, not merely the total volume of a diluted drink. The walkthrough’s cup-pour arithmetic is internally inconsistent, so its worked pouring total is not reproduced here.

Clean the game mixture before the next stage

IGN’s game-equipment sequence reduces Dream Cap protein with tiny pipette additions of acid until the scanner reports none, then heats and rescans the mixture. Coffee instead needs the Fat/Oils check. Keep chemical filtration equipment separate from drinking-water equipment so residue is not transferred between batches. A dedicated pitcher and Kotton filter can remove coarse/metal contamination. This describes the fictional game interface, not a real chemical procedure.

Finish a controlled batch

Watch the scanner as the mush converts; shut off heat when the desired extract appears and let an overheated mixture cool. IGN gives a broad 40–60°C extraction window; the conservative 40–49°C working target above avoids the separately reported raw-mush change at 50°C. Do not treat 60°C as a safe temperature to hold indefinitely. Dry in the powered Evaporator overnight, transfer to the Finisher, select Dream Dust, and use Output repeatedly while sufficient dry feed remains. Rescan the packaged product before assigning a premium grade.

Coffee: remove oils before the hot stage

For the IGN coffee route, measure Coffee Bean Mush and add alcohol at three to six times that component volume. Add Lipobond Agent in small measured amounts to remove Fat/Oils; acid or base is not the oil-removal step. If protein also remains, handle that separately with the game’s acid tool. The walkthrough reports Lipobond leaving during evaporation. Scan after each operation rather than adding a guessed fixed dose.

Coffee temperature and output

IGN heats its coffee mixture above 80°C, filters with a dedicated pitcher and Kotton Fabric, evaporates overnight with power, then selects Caffeine Pill and repeatedly uses Output. This differs from the separate reference’s alcohol-route threshold of 50°C in the reaction table. The sources do not establish one universally optimal temperature; use the scanner to confirm actual conversion in a small batch. Dream Cap’s 40–60°C limits must not be used as coffee’s temperature instructions.

Evaporator placement and completion

A Chemist start or purchased chemistry kit can provide the Evaporator. Put the mixture vessel in Container, add the battery, and leave it powered overnight; it does not finish immediately at the counter. Compare liquid volume the next morning, then test whether the selected Finisher recipe accepts the mixture. Evaporation is useful for solvent-heavy mixtures, not a mandatory extra night for every possible recipe.
