Main route checkpoints
- Search aboard the Enterprise after the crystal disappears. Resolve Pharm’s Aether/Sid encounter with Ice prepared.
- Investigate Sian and speak to Ayaka to establish the Mt. Reizan route. The tornado blocks a direct airship landing.
- Travel overland through Mt. Reizan. Use Water for Ignis, then change to Lightning for Alluvion after the transition.
- Continue through Lake Ryusei to Forest Path. Prepare Wind of both damage categories for Tellus and follow his current call.
- At the route exit, choose Proceed; continue through Alcare toward Wandering Lands.
- Restore at the battlefield save, finish Raegen’s scenes and defeat Umbra with Light while surviving its counters.
If progression seems stuck
Aether and Sid name the same story identity. Do not search for a second distinct boss to satisfy that objective. Finish the chapter transition before expecting the Crystal Tower destination.
