Choose for your first run

Wayfarer favours story progression; Pathbreaker offers a regular action challenge; Hellwalker raises the challenge of enemy responses. Match the menu names below to your game.

Change difficulty during a run

  1. Leave combat and open the in-game System settings.
  2. On the Game tab, select Select Difficulty.
  3. Change the selection, apply and confirm using the prompts for your device.

The title-screen settings differ from the in-game menu. If the game blocks this action during combat, leave combat first.

Why is 66 Days locked?

The on-screen description says it unlocks after completing another difficulty, uses Hellwalker difficulty and limits deaths to 66. Treat it as a later challenge. This does not establish achievement or save-transfer rules.

Evaluate your choice

Use a familiar regular encounter to practise short attacks, stopping and defending. Extend your attack only when you can explain why you took damage. Change one practice goal at a time so the comparison stays useful.
