Soul Tempering: unlock and ten material checks

Boss and quest materials

Iron Ghost after five ribbons supplies the Knuckles core. Four Fierce Axes supplies the Dread Axe’s blood-oath material. Bronze Essence comes from the furnace beyond the right roof of Green Serpent House; temper the bronze sword and report to Bidi for the beads’ scripture. Wan Yue drops Lingering Obsession, whose target weapon the original guide does not identify.

House return route

Green Snake House: check the second-floor green-lit table for Green Gall. At the lion mansion’s rear-right courtyard, extinguish the fire around the yellow pickup for the training head. With repaired Flaming Mane, revisit Red Snake House for the rattle chest; at Black Snake House, check the right chest for the bowstring and the far counter’s right side for Black Venom Sac.

Talk to Myst and select Soul Temper. In the documented PC upgrade screen, press the displayed switch-mode input (P by default) to enter the purple Soul Temper screen. Select the equipment category and confirm the designated key item plus 5,000 Remnant Dust before activating. This is separate from normal level upgrades and their material refunds.
