- Meet Myst in Pangzhen during Chapter 4 to unlock Soul Tempering, then access it through the Bell equipment-upgrade menu.
- Select owned equipment and prepare its specific complete material plus 5,000 Dust. Check the menu preview before submitting.
- Assemble fragments first: Fanatic’s Fragment: Fixation contributes to Fanatic’s Obsession; Fist Fragment: Core contributes to Worldbreaker Fist.
- Soul Tempering changes abilities or creates a new form and cannot be undone by Reforge. Normal upgrade-refund rules do not reverse it.
Match the material to the benefit
Bronze Essence unlocks Effortless Action for Tianxuan Bronze Sword, allowing continued blocking after Guard Break by spending HP. Reinforced Bowstring unlocks Feather Bow’s Precision Shot, rewarding timed charged shots with more damage and Sha-Chi depletion. Ordinary upgrade, equipment-specific tempering and accessory-polishing materials serve different systems.
