Early path
At the Waystation collect the axe, finish bow and healer requests, then defeat Zhui Ming for the Chain Sickle and revisit the gorge. In the forest rescue Zhang, complete wounded-bandit and letter tasks, solve Mirrorwood and face Bai Chilian. In Lu Village start the driver and Lan tales, finish the masters and well route, and gather ribbons before Mu Xiaokui.
Optional gates
Meet the underground tavern NPCs. Get Greedy Wolf, Water Dragon Head and repaired Flaming Mane. The post-Wan Yue well key opens Mandate Encampment. Repair the three-part Pipa for northeast Meigu Lake’s barrier. Finish the three portals for Crimson Manor and collect four masks.
Final checks
Return to the frozen lake mirror for the purple chain. Audit before Mirage Estate, finish the pillar requirement and retain a save at the final-boss boundary. Conflicting chapter counts are not used: follow locations and tool gates.
