Two pairings for the Meigu Lake stage
| Main damage role | Other weapon and role | Key gate |
|---|---|---|
| Baishan Stormswords | Outlaw Warblade: life-drain and a shield for sustain. | Account for biological immunity; Livingwood gives only partial effectiveness on normally immune body types. |
| Baishan Stormswords | White Serpent & Crimson Viper | The serpent weapon must be level 25 for its Power Surge spinning blades to remain after swapping back to Baishan. |
Check level 25 before practicing the swap
- Acquire and equip both weapons first. Use their acquisition and upgrade guides; a Meigu-stage recommendation is not an opening-game loadout.
- For the serpent pairing, verify White Serpent & Crimson Viper is level 25. Below that gate, do not expect the spinning blades to persist through the swap.
- Activate the serpent weapon’s Power Surge, then swap back to Baishan for damage. Watch the lingering effect and the weapon-swap cooldown.
- Choose Outlaw when sustain is the priority and life-drain works on the target. Against Puppets, Phantoms and Golden Bodies, Livingwood permits only 50% effectiveness at base or 70% at +1.
Other Power Surge options
Fiend Saws spends one Essence on 10 seconds of Fiend Form: unblockable attacks and increased damage against guard-broken targets. Activating Power Surge again gives a finisher without another Essence cost and ends the form. Wild Oriole Sword spends one Essence on an unblockable sword combo. Do not transfer these costs to Infernal Rouge, whose second Power Surge costs another Essence.
