Acquisition and form
Defeat Yuzan in Village of Lu for this Artifice weapon. Its listed starting panel is 276 Damage and 234 Guard Break. The untempered instrument has no barrier-clearing exploration ability, so it is distinct from Illusory Pipa.
Sonic attacks and Sparks
| Action | Result |
|---|---|
| Repeated Phantom Edge input | Two blue waves then one red; full chain costs one Spark |
| Blue waves | Damage and Sha-Chi depletion; unblockable |
| Red wave | Higher damage; unblockable and ignores all damage reduction |
Using unlocked skills
| Skill identifier | Use |
|---|---|
| Evasive Pluck | Side dodge into immediate Phantom Edge input for a moving wave |
| Harmonic Shift | Forward/backward dodge into immediate Phantom Edge input |
| Formation-Breaking Song | Hold the combination shown in this skill’s prompt to sit and sustain blue/red waves, continuously draining Sparks; follow your current bindings |
| Ringing Steel I / II / III | Successive ranks improve blue-wave depletion and red-wave damage; no invented percentages |
Upgrading, reverting and repair
Ordinary smith upgrades can be reverted with the relevant talisman for their material refund. Once Myst unlocks Soul Tempering, the required special material and Dust transform it into Illusory Pipa, adding barrier removal and weak-enemy control. Soul Tempering is irreversible, so distinguish it from ordinary upgrade reversion. Use the repair-quest guide for the three parts.
